Congratulations to winners of the costume contest: Angel for most creative, Matthew and Moe for scariest, and, tied, Beth and Winnie for best costume over all.

Also, as we announced at Friday's assembly, a winner has been chosen in the contest to design a mascot for Oxstand's sports teams. It was a difficult decision, but after long discussion and careful consideration the staff chose Beth's suggestion that we be the Oxstand Tigers. "Hello and Welcome to Oxstand-Bond International School. As the principal, it is my honour to welcome you to our school community
.

This is my first year at Oxstand and already I have met many wonderful people and have had too many positive experiences to count! I am from Ontario, Canada, where I have been a certified teacher for nineteen years and a qualified principal for the past six.

I have come to China to experience a new culture and language and have not been disappointed! I find the people to be cooperative and friendly, the language a challenge and the food outstanding!

I look forward to growing and learning in my new position and will relish the many experiences that Oxstand and China will afford me. I am glad to be here!"
